The National Art School is accredited through TEQSA and offers Bachelor of Fine Art, Master, and Doctorate courses in Painting, Photomedia, Sculpture, Ceramics, and Printmaking, and core subjects in Drawing and Art History and Theory. We are a State Significant organisation (SSO) in NSW with a dedication to become the leading art school in the Asia Pacific.

Facilities and Risk Manager

The Facilities and Risk Manager effectively manages and organises services and resources for the facilities, workshop, security, WHS, and campus operations of National Art School in Darlinghurst. In addition, they provide strategic support and advice to senior management on all issues related to facilities and campus operations.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will work as part of a close-knit team. The role involves day-to-day property and facilities management as well as larger project works across NAS. You have the ability build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders and have managed budgets, set forecasts and are a good negotiator. You will have excellent problem-solving skills with a proven capacity to exercise initiative and develop solutions. You will have good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, along with operational and facilities management experience with building services and infrastructure. You will be experienced in risk management and a passionate advocate for workplace health, safety and compliance.
